Reflection

Wajada is to find — and the same three letters give wujūd, existence, and wajd, which the Qur’an uses for the means a person actually has: house them where you live, out of your wujd, according to what you have found.

Al-Wājid finds and lacks nothing; the written form is not in the Qur’an, and the name is carried by the list. The root does not distinguish very hard between finding and having. Losing things is our condition rather than a fact about the world.
