Al Baa'ith

Baʿatha is to rouse what was still, and the Qur’an uses the one verb for all three of its rousings: the sleepers of the cave woken to ask each other how long they had slept, a messenger raised up and sent, and whoever is in the graves.

This definite form is not in the text; the name is carried by the list. That a single word does all three jobs is not an accident of the root — waking, sending and raising are one motion in Arabic, and only English needs three verbs for it. Something was still, and then was not.
