Reflection

Rizq is what sustains a creature — food, and anything else given that keeps a life going. The intensive shape here makes it a habit rather than an event.

There is exactly one ayah carrying this written form, and it is the same ayah that carries al-Matīn, the fifty-fourth of these names: Allah is the Provider, the possessor of strength, the firm. Provision described as solid rather than as plentiful is worth noticing — it is a promise about the rope, not about the size of the load. It arrives at the pace it arrives, which is rarely the pace we would have chosen.
